How can I ensure the quality of a reused carpet compared to a new one?

Our reuse process consists of several steps, ensuring full quality control from start to finish.

1 — A preliminary sorting phase is carried out by our experts in-house. Any carpet tile in poor condition or failing to meet the highest textile quality standards is discarded.

2 — The selected tiles then undergo our certified refurbishment process: deep cleaning and fiber restoration, manual stain removal, and odor neutralization.

3 — Finally, we conduct a last round of sorting and inspection before packaging, ensuring only tiles in perfect condition are retained.

Can I buy a new carpet alongside a reused one?

Absolutely. Covering a large professional space solely with reused carpet isn’t always easy. We recommend combining both options to create different visual effects and define distinct atmospheres, tailored to your style and current design trends.

What is the lifespan of a reused carpet?

With proper maintenance, a reused carpet can last an additional 6 to 10 years—equivalent to the average lifespan of a carpet in a professional space.

That’s why we also recommend our regular maintenance program alongside your purchase. Not only are you getting a reused product up to 50% cheaper than a new equivalent, but you also benefit from our carpet cleaning and care expertise—helping you double the lifespan of your investment.

Is there a warranty included with the purchase of a reused carpet?

At Composil, our priority is to extend the lifespan of carpets and textiles as much as possible—reducing waste and contributing to a positive cycle that maximizes resource value.

That’s why, when you choose our certified cleaning and maintenance program with your reused carpet purchase, you receive an additional 5-year warranty.

I’d like to see the carpet in person. Do you offer samples?

Yes. We have samples for almost all the references available in our shop. You can contact us to visit our showroom, learn more about our methodology, and experiment with different color combinations. Our doors are open! 

It’s also possible for the manufacturer to send new product samples directly to your location, depending on their terms.
