Détachage manuel et respect des fibres

Les taches sont traitées une par une, à la main, en fonction de leur nature et de la matière du tapis. Cette approche précise permet de traiter les taches efficacement tout en respectant la fibre et l’aspect du tapis.

Entretien presque à sec

Nous utilisons une méthode qui nécessite très peu d’eau. Cela permet de nettoyer en profondeur sans détremper le tapis, d’éviter les déformations et de préserver la structure des fibres, même les plus délicates.

Nettoyage en profondeur

L’entretien agit au cœur des fibres pour faire ressortir les saletés incrustées, les poussières et les résidus. Les produits utilisés sont adaptés au textile et choisis pour leur efficacité, sans agresser la fibre ni les couleurs.

Hand stain removal ⌃

We treat stains one by one, manually, depending on their type and the rug’s material. This careful approach allows us to remove stains effectively while preserving the fibre, colour and appearance of the rug.

 

Dry cleaning ⌃

We use  dry cleaning method that requires very little water. This lets us deep-clean without soaking the rug, prevents distortion, and preserves the fibre structure, even for the most delicate fibres.

Deep maintenance ⌃

Maintenance works deep in the fibres to lift embedded dirt, dust and residues from everyday use. The products we use are textile-friendly and chosen for their effectiveness,  they won’t damage the fibres.

What equipment do you use for rug cleaning ?

To give you the best rug care, Composil relies on a unique method built on two pillars: tailored cleaning products and precise mechanical action.

Unlike conventional approaches, our machines don’t crush the fibres — they lift and realign them from the root, while removing deeply embedded dirt and unpleasant odours.

We also use our own certified, patented cleaning solutions. These liquids are precisely dosed by our teams and leave no harsh chemical residues that could harm the rug or your health.

Can you remove all stains from a rug ?

Our teams are trained to handle each situation according to the stain and the rug’s fibre.

Our process removes a wide range of stains — from everyday spills to the most stubborn: wine, coffee, ink, pet stains, grease, food... We guarantee our clients a stain-removal rate of over 95%.

Effectiveness, however, depends on several factors:

    • the type of fibre (wool, silk, synthetic)
    • the age of the stain
    • previous treatments

Where is the rug cleaned ?

Rug cleaning is carried out exclusively at our workshops in Wavre, easily accessible from Walloon Brabant and Brussels.

You drop off your rug at our workshop and collect it once the service is complete.

What types of rugs do you clean ?

We clean a wide variety of textiles, including Oriental rugs, wool and silk rugs, as well as synthetic and contemporary rugs.
Every rug is assessed before any intervention.

We take fibre type, pile density, overall condition and age into account to recommend a tailored care plan that poses no risk to the fibres or colours.

 

Does the cleaning remove dust mites and odours?

Yes. A properly executed rug cleaning removes a large portion of fine dust, dust mites and embedded odours caused by daily use.

Our method works deep into the fibres without soaking, so the rug does not become a moisture reservoir. This helps create a healthier indoor environment while preserving the textile’s quality.
