Whitewood commits to reuse by entrusting the renovation of its offices to Composil

Whitewood's office renovation project in Brussels perfectly illustrates the commitment of both companies to sustainable development in the construction and renovation sector.

As part of this initiative, Whitewood has once again partnered with Composil, an expert in the maintenance, reuse, and recycling of office carpets, to upgrade its flooring.

 A challenge successfully met: After the removal of used carpet from the first four floors, the entire carpet was carried by us to our partner Tarkett Restart's recycling center.

For the layout of the third floor, Whitewood selected 600m² of reuse carpet from Composil's catalog.

Whitewood will also call upon Composil to select reuse carpet for the ground floor, 1st, and 2nd floors of the building

Removal and transportation of all carpet from the building to our partner Tarkett's recycling facility.

 • Recycling & Certification 

Non-reusable tiles find a new life at Tarkett Restart allowing the client to receive an initial CO₂ certificate. 

 • Consultation & Selection 

Whitewood then browsed Composil's catalog to select reuse tiles that suited their needs and layout requirements.

 • Installation & Monitoring 

Installation of 600 m² within Whitewood's offices. Post-installation follow-up was carried out by Composil
