cour royale #2

The field is at the heart of your club. We keep it clean, safe and high-performing — match after match.

Don’t let dirt ruin performance… or your players’ health.

A hockey field lives and breathes. It takes on sprints, slides and impacts. But it also traps moisture, algae, moss and abrasive particles. Without proper maintenance, grip fades, fibres compress and degrade — and injury risks increase. The surface becomes less pleasant to play on… and far more expensive in the long run.

At Composil, we believe a good field isn’t just “playable” — it should be healthy, durable and respected. That’s exactly what we deliver: responsible and regular care that extends your field’s lifespan — and protects your budget.

✅ A pitch that plays at its best

|

Our cleaning method lifts the fibres without flattening them and removes embedded dirt (gum, soil, leaves, organic residue…). The result: better bounce, smoother grip, fewer slippery or uneven zones — for a faster, safer, more enjoyable game.

✅ Less water, less downtime, more playtime

|

Our low-moisture method uses very little water, unlike traditional cleaning that soaks the surface. The result: a pitch that’s quickly ready to use, without disrupting your schedule or causing slippery spots after cleaning.

✅ A surface that lasts longer

|

Moisture, algae and embedded dirt accelerate wear and tear. By cleaning your pitch regularly, you extend its lifespan and delay costly renovations.

FAQ

Are your products and machines suitable for synthetic hockey pitches?

Yes — our method is perfectly suited to long-pile surfaces like synthetic hockey pitches.

Our machines use a mechanical action that lifts the fibres and removes embedded dirt, where fine dust, abrasive particles, organic residue or compacted sand tend to accumulate.

We also apply algae-control products to treat damp areas prone to moss and mould, without damaging the fibres or affecting the pitch’s grip.

It’s this combination — mechanical brushing + gentle chemistry — that delivers a deep and truly long-lasting clean.

Is your method really resource-efficient?

Absolutely — that’s one of its biggest advantages.

Unlike traditional injection/extraction methods, which can consume up to 50 litres of water per minute, our technology uses just 3cl of water per square metre.

This allows for deep cleaning without saturating the surface — saving water and keeping the pitch available for use, with no extended downtime.

Add to that a quick, low-energy intervention, and you get a cleaning solution that’s both effective and sustainable.

How do I know when my pitch needs a cleaning?

Every pitch wears differently.

Sun exposure, fibre type, training frequency, weather conditions… all of these affect how dirt builds up and how the surface degrades.

At Composil, we don’t impose a fixed schedule. We offer a tailored diagnosis based on your pitch’s actual condition — and clear recommendations, whether for a one-off cleaning or a long-term care plan.

Do you offer a demo before starting?

Yes — and it’s often the best way to start.

We can carry out a demo on a section of your pitch to show you exactly how our method works, with no strings attached. You’ll be able to see:

  • How the fibres respond to the cleaning,

  • The level of embedded dirt,

  • The immediate visual results.

It’s also a great opportunity to discuss your specific needs, logistical constraints, and explore a care plan — for one pitch or several.
